Keep Your Mind Relax

With current hectic lifestyles, people become more stressful day by day. Not only men, but women also have to work long hours in the office, do household tasks and engage in many stressful activities in this speedy society. While technologies have been developing in this commercialized society, the spirituality and noble human qualities are deteriorating in a parallel manner. Minds are rapidly becoming hubs of stress. While people have been suffering from many psychological disorders like amnesia. So, even to do the office task properly, mindfulness is a main contributing factor. How can we develop mindfulness in this stressful, distracting society? It`s really a challenge. Especially, it can be considered as a challenge for women rather than men. Because females are the more suppressed gender in this male dominating Asian society. It is a necessity to utilize suitable methods to make the mind calm and quiet.

Among various methods, meditation can be considered as one of the most successful methods. The word itself seems like religious. But, actually no.In some psychological therapies, meditation is used as a tool or element. So. it`s better if we can consider meditation as a psychological tool for mental cultivation. “Meditation “term means contemplating on a particular object. It may develop one pointedness and may reduce the speedy and diffusive nature of mind and also help to relief from stress.

Let’s consider how a beginner can start the meditation practices. The essential components of meditation — relaxation, and breathing— may be not easy to handle in our busy lives, but if you’re able to find just a little space in a day, you can start your journey. Positive outputs of meditation include stress reduction, sharpened concentration, and improved circulation to start. Once you begin to practice, you’ll soon experience a quieter mind, a more open heart, and a sense of inner freedom. It seems like good…!!

Here are five easy methods for start-ups. For meditations, you just need 5-10 minutes per day.

Sit in a quiet and calm place conveniently

Find a place, where there is zero disturbance. The place should not be noisy. To get a beginning, there will be no matter from your posture. You can sit conveniently. It’s better you can maintain your body in erectly with cross legged position. There are many meditation postures. But as a beginner, you should not consider those things much.

Become “present.”-Existential Living

Become totally aware of your current surroundings. What do you hear? How does it feel to sit? Do you feel the tension? Where are your thoughts? In this steps, you can identify your thoughts clearly whether it is good thought like kindness and compassion or whether it is a bad thought like hatred or jealousy. You will identify your thoughts like a radar. Carl Rogers describes this as one characteristic of a fully functional person.

Focus on your breath

When you are taking long and deep breaths, feel your breath`s way from lungs to nostrils. Your mind will wonder (that is okay), just try your best to be as focused as possible.

Feel your Body-Awareness

Once you’re directing your attention, take care of your body and how each body elements perceive the sensations. Start with the bottom of the body and walk your way up to your head. If your mind continues to surf, then bring your thoughts back to your breath. Breathe five to ten times with full concentration on each breath. This may help to increase your awareness.

Practice again and again!

Like anything, practice will make you perfect. Make sure to allocate a time each and every day to practice. You’ll hopefully find all your practice totally worth it as meditation can be life-changing!

Life is all about determination and effort!!If you allocate little time from your busy life to enrich your mind, you will be surely spiritually illuminated!!

We are living in exciting times where never before has our country and society been so conscious about health and fitness like now. In the last decade, fitness has taken a whole different meaning and more so for women. With the amount of information available around, it’s difficult to not board the fitness wagon. On the contrary regular practice of yoga helps women in regulating their cycle as the hormones come in rhythm and tandem with the body. The Sustained and disciplined practice of yoga helps in managing those painful and crampy days without piling on the calories that chocolate cake and coffee offer J . Yoga asanas work not only on the muscles but also on organs like the thyroid and hypothalamus – the masterminds of the human body. Once these are given their due to right exercise and the good diet, overall maintenance of health becomes second nature and the body also starts appreciating the efforts. It has also been observed that the mood swings are also more manageable if the hormones are not all over the place. So the next time you are nearing your cycle, instead of cuddling up in bed, spread that mat out and practice some soothing asanas- your muscles will thank you and those hormones will be smiling right back at you!!!

Now all the moms would be raising their brows and saying that all this is good unless you have made a human body inside of you and gone through that unimaginable & unparalleled experience called childbirth. Well, mommies, you have an even stronger reason to get your yoga mats dusted and cleaned, because the most sure shot way of returning the displaced organs and untamed hormones back to where there belong -is the good old yoga. There is a pace that yoga follows which is of immense relevance as the female body recovers. Slowly and gradually with some specific asanas, the body starts regaining its strength and stamina. And can I share a little secret? Diligent practice of core-related yogas asanas can definitely help you get rid of the much-hated baby pouch!!! (motivation enough J )

When you are using caffeine drinks like Coca-Cola, the same thing happens like above example. Melatonin hormone is suppressed.

Food Habits

Food habits can contribute you to become a more conscious one in this unconscious world. Nutrition supplements related with Vitamin B, Omega S can contribute to increasing the activation of nerve cells. While natural food items and beverages like green tea are playing a major role in memory games.
